From the Internet to In-Person: Surgical Pathology Cases from Six Social Media Educators

Social media has emerged as a powerful tool in pathology education worldwide, but in-person teaching at the microscope remains the cornerstone of sharing knowledge, insight, and experience. This interactive microscopy course will provide key updates in the daily practice of surgical pathology from six proven educators. Topics will include molecular testing of bone, soft tissue, thyroid, and endometrial neoplasms; histologic distinction of difficult appendiceal, thoracic, mesenchymal, head and neck, and endocrine lesions; best practices in thoracic frozen section evaluation; and proper workup of limited material in gastrointestinal, thyroid, bladder, and renal samples.
