Fungal Endophthalmitis

Fungal endophthalmitis is a rare disease of ocular inflammation caused by fungal infections from either endogenous or exogenous sources. Because the clinical symptoms vary greatly and overlap with other ocular pathologies, fungal endophthalmitis presents as a diagnostic challenge. This activity reviews the evaluation and management of fungal endophthalmitis and reviews the role of the interprofessional team in the care of patients with this condition.
