Integrating ESR1m Testing and Novel Oral SERDS Into Multidisciplinary Workflows: Regional Guidance for HR+, HER2- Advanced Breast Cancer

This enduring education offers national to local faculty discussions from the North East / Mid-Atlantic and South Regions of the U.S. and aims to improve the knowledge and competence of oncologists, advanced practice providers, pathologists, and pharmacists in implementing biomarker testing and effectively using oral SERDs within a framework of multidisciplinary collaboration to improve patient care in a rapidly evolving therapeutic landscape. As a result of this educational curriculum, learners will be better able to: 1. Integrate testing for ESR1 mutations at appropriate times into practice workflows in the treatment of patients with HR-positive, HER2-negative advanced breast cancer; 2. Evaluate the clinical implications of the latest evidence for approved and late-stage emerging novel oral SERDs in patients with HR-positive, HER2-negative advanced breast cancer; and, 3. Apply multidisciplinary, patient-centered strategies for optimizing treatment outcomes with novel oral SERDs in patients with HR-positive, HER2-negative advanced breast cancer.
