ISUDT UPDATE: The Role of Urine Drug Screen and Harm Reduction in Managing SUDs

1) Understand the role of the urine drug screen in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) management. 2) Understand common clinical scenarios and harm reduction approaches. 3) Understand the role of Medication Assisted Treatment in harm reduction for patients with SUD. 4) Recognize how to care for patients with complex or challenging cases, including lack of adherence to medication or frequent refusal of appointments. 5) Utilize the various tools, resources and trainings available to support care of patients with SUD. 6) Accurately interpret diagnostic tests in the context of SUD.
