This Emergency Medicine Grand Rounds discusses Lyme Disease, a less commonly seen disease in Michigan although quite commonly presenting due to chronic symptoms ascribed to Lyme, usually inaccurately. The presentation provides an overview of the various phases of Lyme disease, its complications and treatment, with focus on the post-Lyme syndrome which is a rather questionable entity in its direct causality to the infection.
