The gut and microbiome are at the heart of all health and disease. The interaction of the gut, immune and neurologic systems are vital to the assessment and treatment of children with common as well as complex and chronic neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric disorders. Dr. O Hara will review the functional medicine approach to yeast and other forms of dysbiosis, highlighting the role of the gut and microbiome in the comprehensive care of children.
