The Maine Ongoing Outreach Simulation Education (MOOSE) neoSTAR telesimulation program is designed to allow community hospitals to practice high risk but low frequency scenarios, following their full-day MOOSE neoSTAR Site Initiation Visit (SIV) simulation training. The MOOSE neoSTAR program is a monthly, one-hour, scheduled telesimulation for teams caring for neonates, including pediatricians, APPs, nurses, respiratory therapists and any other key interprofessional members such as OBGYN s, hospital educators, and quality improvement specialists. The simulations are located on site at each of the participating local hospitals and the hospitals are connected virtually to MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Portland. The trainings will consist of immersive simulation scenarios followed by virtual learning debriefs.
