Pediatric Emergency Medicine PEMTALKS- Gynecologic Pathology in the Pediatric Patient

This session will provide an overview of common gynecologic conditions and presentations encountered in pediatric patients. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how to recognize when specialized evaluation by a pediatric gynecologist is indicated. The presentation will also address key findings that may raise concern for possible sexual abuse, emphasizing the importance of timely recognition and appropriate referral. Through case-based discussion and evidence-based review, this course aims to enhance clinicians confidence in managing and identifying gynecologic issues in the pediatric population.
