Physical Disability & Motor Function in Dementia

Upon completion of this educational activity, participants will be able to: 1. Describe physical and motor function disorders that contribute to functional decline, increased dependence and threats to safety and well-being in the aged population with cognitive impairment or dementia. 2. Develop personalized treatment strategies that address the physical function and motor decline seen in dementia including parkinsonism, motor neuron disease, and focal deficits related to cerebrovascular disease.
