The goal of this program is to improve the prevention and management of atherosclerosis. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:Encourage patients with atherosclerosis to join cardiac rehabilitation programs.Prescribe an appropriate statin at an appropriate dose.Counsel patients with atherosclerotic heart disease about the importance of dietary modifications.
