Reflective Learning (defined point of care CME) 2026-2027

This activity runs continuously in the OOG app and website for the activity period. Learning starts from a spontaneous clinical question or an item of educational content in the OOG library, which may be an article, a video, a post in the feed, or an answer from Ask OOG. Content is matched to each learner’s discipline and specialty. To earn credit, the learner chooses Reflect to Earn and responds in writing to a reflective question about the content and its application to their own practice. Each reflection is reviewed against a defined standard for relevance and depth of reflection. A reflection that meets the standard completes the activity and earns 0.5 credits. A reflection that falls short is returned with feedback, and the learner may revise and resubmit. Through this activity, learners identify a gap arising from their own practice, interpret current evidence against it, and commit to a specific change or improvement in the care they deliver.
