This session will discuss the fundamental aspects of access and equity in type 1 diabetes with focus on screening and monitoring for T1D. We will cover the current state of disparities in monitoring and screening and will additionally draw from other aspects of diabetes care including technology, therapeutics, and clinical trials as a way to anticipate and prevent inequities. We will close by discussing evidence-based solutions that promote equitable care delivery.
