The goal of this program is to improve the diagnosis and management of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in patients with recent injury. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:Explain how re-experiencing PTSD results from difficulty in consolidating the memory of the traumatic event.Differentiate among models of care for PTSD following injury.
