Lynne Briggs and Dr. Justin Juskewitch, will be discussing how big data fuels many of the business activities and much of the decision making across numerous industries. Blood banking and transfusion medicine are no different. With massive amounts of valuable data being collected about donors, blood donations, product manufacturing, distribution/supply chains, and transfusion administration. In this session, they will discuss approaches to how we can unleash data from transactional systems and explore a novel solution created when we can more readily access data and information.
