Update in Celiac Disease

The goal of this program is to improve the diagnosis and management of celiac disease. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Identify the component of gluten that causes the immune reaction seen in celiac disease. 2. Distinguish normal small bowel mucosa from that seen in celiac disease on upper endoscopy. 3. Use appropriate serologic tests for the diagnosis of celiac disease.
