When Treating Patient Employment Results in High Dose Opioids is an enduring course that will provide standardized, comprehensive, easily accessible, evidence-based education on best practices and current laws regarding opioids for professionals throughout the State. This activity focuses on the differences in pain pathology from managing structural overuse, the physiologic, emotional, and professional consequences of high opioid prescribing, and the rationale for prescribing greater than 90 MME.
