This activity will focus on a review of guideline-based risk assessment for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. Risk severity for both primary and secondary prevention will be defined with the help of some risk calculator tools. The presentation will define risk-enhancing factors for cardiovascular disease and their appropriate utilization, with special focus on coronary artery calcium score and lipoprotein(a).
