Chest Trauma: Review of Common & Uncommon Injuries of the Chest

This lecture is a case based review of common and uncommon traumatic chest injuries with emphasis on trauma team management, including what the trauma surgeon needs to know. Objectives: -Review imaging findings related to common and uncommon traumatic injuries including: -Review imaging findings and management of pulmonary laceration and contusions. -Review imaging findings and management of pneumothorax and hemothorax. -Review imaging findings and management of thoracic vascular injuries including aorta and pulmonary arteries.
