Extended Cystic Fibrosis Course 2 Update: Diagnosis and Management Birth through Pre-School Years

Cystic Fibrosis Course 2 Update: Diagnosis and Management – Birth through the Pre-School Years begins with a module detailing the team-based management needed during the first several clinic visits of an infant diagnosed with CF through newborn screening. The next three modules focus on important aspects of care of the child in infancy and preschool and are tightly linked to the Clinical Practice Guidelines from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for Preschoolers with Cystic Fibrosis. Module five addresses the use of CFTR modulators for the youngest children with CF. The final module reflects the currently approved therapies for infants and young children which is rapidly evolving. The use of modulators may impact future approaches to monitoring and treatment.
