Lewy Body Dementia

Lewy Body Dementia (LBD) encompasses two clinical entities: dementia with Lewy bodies and Parkinson disease dementia. It is a progressive degenerative brain disorder characterized by dementia, psychosis, and features of parkinsonism. Symptoms fluctuate with time and vary among different individuals.
