Surveillance Webinar: Cholera Outbreak

Description ACPM is offering a series of courses on Surveillance Systems and Environmental Health, covering a range of critical topics. These webinars are essential for a comprehensive understanding of the functions, components and limitations of the various surveillance systems, how to effectively navigate through one or more of these systems and how these systems fit within the large public health and healthcare ecosystem. The first course in the series is: Overview of Public Health Surveillance Part 1 Overview of presentation Cholera epidemiology and global burden Key drivers of cholera outbreaks Prevention and response strategies Role of surveillance systems Target Audience The primary audience for this activity is physicians, physicians-in-training, primary care physicians as well as, physician assistants and nurse practictioners who specialize in preventive medicine. Method of Physician Participation Through this course, participants can comlete an evaluation of the learner’s comprehension of the subject matter, and is required to receive your CME credit.
