The American Neurology Summit (ANS) 2026 is a hybrid CME activity (in-person and virtual) designed to address clinical practice gaps in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of neurological disorders. The activity focuses on evidence-based advances in stroke, neurodegenerative diseases, epilepsy, neuro-oncology, and neuromuscular conditions. This activity is developed based on identified gaps from evolving clinical guidelines, emerging therapies, and real-world practice challenges. The goal is to improve physician competence, performance, and patient outcomes by translating current evidence into clinical practice. The educational format includes expert-led presentations, case-based discussions, and interactive sessions to promote active learning and practical application. Medical Knowledge: Learners will gain updated knowledge on disease mechanisms, diagnostic approaches, and treatment strategies aligned with current clinical guidelines and emerging evidence. Practice Assessment: Through case-based discussions and clinical scenarios, participants will evaluate their current practice patterns, identify gaps, and apply evidence-based strategies to improve clinical decision-making and patient management. Patient Safety: The activity emphasizes safe clinical practices, including appropriate treatment selection, adverse-event management, and risk-mitigation strategies to enhance patient outcomes and reduce errors. By participating, learners are expected to improve competence in neurological care, enhance performance through evidence-based practice, and implement patient safety principles in clinical settings.
