Neuropsychology of Long COVID ECHO

The Neuropsychology of Long COVID ECHO Program is designed to build a collaborative learning community among neuropsychologists, psychologists, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to improve care for individuals experiencing post-COVID cognitive and neuropsychological symptoms. Using the Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) telementoring model, the program combines a Virtual Community of Practice (VCoP) with a complementary webinar series to provide both foundational knowledge and deeper exploration of key topics related to Long COVID. Through didactic presentations, in-depth discussions, and real patient case consultations, the program offers evidence-based guidance on assessing and treating symptoms such as brain fog and other cognitive impairments. The VCoP sessions expand upon webinar content by fostering interactive, case-based learning, encouraging interprofessional collaboration, and strengthening shared problem-solving. Together, these components aim to enhance provider expertise, expand access to quality care, and develop a global network of clinicians equipped to address the complex and evolving needs of patients with Long COVID.
